Canberra Grammar School seeks an Assistant Director of Student Development to strengthen the Senior School’s House‑based pastoral system. This five-year leadership appointment includes an ongoing teaching role and a focus on student behaviour, attendance and belonging.

The role works with House leaders, families and staff to translate plans into timely student support, with delegated authority for follow‑up and sensitive matters.

Competenze

• Experience in the care, support and development of students in a school environment.
• Strong understanding of House-based pastoral care and belonging.
• Ability to manage sensitive matters with sound judgement and discretion.
• Experience guiding or leading teams in complex student matters.
• Strong communications skills with students, families and colleagues.
