Job summary

• Provide effective and innovative Mathematics teaching reflecting the College ethos.
• Manage curriculum requirements including programs, registers, assessment, feedback and reporting.
• Address student issues using the College's positive behaviour framework and relevant protocols.
• Implement College protocols and strategies.
• Provide pastoral care through leading a regular House Tutor group.
• Support co-curricular activities of the College.

The College has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mathematics Teacher to join the Senior School in a full-time position commencing in Term 1, 2027.

have the ability to teach across Stages 4-6 of the NESA Mathematics Syllabuses to ensure that the College provides quality education to students.

have exceptional communication and relational teaching skills.

have knowledge of relevant compliance requirements in schools.

holds a valid Working with Children Check in NSW (WWCC).

are an accredited teacher with at least Conditional Teacher accreditation from NESA.

work effectively and collaboratively in a Faculty team.

the ability to teach all levels of Mathematics would be highly desirable.

Core Responsibilities:

The Mathematics Teacher should:

provide effective and innovative teaching practices for teaching Mathematics, reflecting the Christian ethos of the College, ensuring a high standard of outcomes for all students.

manage curriculum requirements for their classes, including programs, registers, assessment, feedback, and reporting.

manage student issues arising from their classes using the College’s positive behaviour framework and implementing relevant College protocols.

implement College protocols and strategies.

provide effective pastoral care to students through leading a regular House Tutor group.

support co-curricular activities of the College.
