Job summary

Peoplebank, part of RGF Staffing ANZ, is seeking an APS6 Salesforce Developer for a long-term contract based in Canberra. You will establish Claude Code AI capabilities within Salesforce, develop Vlocity/OmniStudio solutions, and design REST API integrations while working with GitLab, Bitbucket, GitHub and Jira.

The role requires 3–5 years' hands-on Salesforce experience, strong OOP and REST API skills, and a commitment to accessible, inclusive design.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years hands-on experience with Salesforce Vlocity/OmniStudio including Apex, LWC, OmniScripts, FlexCards, Integration Procedures and DataRaptors.
• Strong experience with object-oriented programming (OOP), frameworks and design patterns.
• Experience with source control tools such as GitLab, package-based development, Atlassian Jira, VS Code and DevOps practices.
• REST API and Platform Events integrations experience.
• Experience delivering Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Community Cloud.
• Sound understanding of Salesforce Governor Limits and best practices.
• Commitment to accessibility and inclusive design.

About the Role

Our Federal Government Client is seeking an APS6 Salesforce Developer.

This is a long-term contract role based in Canberra.

As the Selected Candidate, You Will

To Be Successful In This Role You Should Have

• 3 to 5 years of hands‑on experience with the Salesforce Vlocity/OmniStudio platform, including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), OmniScripts, FlexCards, Integration Procedures and DataRaptors.
• Strong experience working with object‑oriented programming (OOP), frameworks and design patterns.
• Experience with source control tools such as GitLab, package‑based development, Atlassian Jira, VS Code and DevOps practices.
• Proven experience designing and building integrations using REST APIs and Platform Events.
• Experience delivering Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Community Cloud implementations.
• Sound understanding of Salesforce Governor Limits and best practices.
• A commitment to accessibility and inclusive design, with enthusiasm for accessible development practices.

It Is Desirable If You Have

• Successfully delivered three or more Salesforce platform‑based CRM projects using Agile methodologies.
• Salesforce certifications including Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II and OmniStudio Developer.
• Demonstrated experience with AI configuration and customisation within Salesforce ecosystems.
• Previous experience working in Federal Government environments.
