Job Title

Senior Salesforce Engineer

Client & Program

The Department of Health, Disability and Ageing (DoHDA) is leading a government digital transformation program. The role is part of the Platform Engineering team.

Location & Start Date

Work can be performed in QLD, WA, ACT, VIC, NSW, NT, SA, TAS or remotely. Estimated start date: Monday, 12 January 2026.

Security Clearance

Must be able to obtain Baseline security clearance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer in enterprise or government environments (PSS).
• Strong proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and SOQL/SOSL.
• Deep understanding of Salesforce security model, including profiles, permission sets, and sharing rules.
• Experience with Salesforce configuration and automation tools.
• Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git), and CI/CD practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience working within a Platform Engineering or enterprise technology team.
• Familiarity with government digital service standards and compliance frameworks.
• Exposure to DevSecOps practices and tooling in a Salesforce environment.
