Pullman & Mercure Melbourne Albert Park are seeking a passionate and growth driven Senior Sales Manager to join our team. You will lead conference and events sales with a focus on revenue growth and client relationships, while supervising Sales Executives and driving strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in business management, marketing or similar.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in a senior sales capacity.
• Experience in negotiation within hotel sales.
• Strong communication, negotiation, relationship and networking skills.
• Understanding of hotel market segments and current trends.
• Understanding of branding and positioning of Hotels within the market.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, coaching and support to the Sales Executive to drive conference and events sales.
• Drive revenue across accommodation, venue hire, F&B and AV for Conference & Events.
• Optimize yield, business mix, profitability and approach from sales strategy to execution.
• Develop and implement strategic initiatives to maximise performance across accounts.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities and strengthen client relationships.
• Collaborate across Commercial, Revenue and Operational teams to optimise demand and pricing.
• Report on Business on the Books and other required metrics.
