Design & Build is seeking an experienced Senior Safety Advisor based in Brisbane to support the company's safety function across national projects.

The role involves site visits, engagement with project teams, and monthly travel to NSW, with autonomy and a real influence on safety outcomes.

You'll join a well-established national Tier 3 contractor and contribute to a diverse pipeline spanning retail, hospitality, commercial, education, government and industrial sectors.

• Previous experience in a Safety Advisor role within commercial construction.
• Experience across a diverse range of projects (new builds, fit-outs, refurbishments).
• Exposure to multiple sectors (retail, hospitality, commercial, education, government, industrial).
• Strong understanding of construction HSE requirements and ability to apply them across varied environments.
• Confident engaging with site teams, subcontractors and project stakeholders at all levels.

I am currently seeking an experienced Senior Safety Advisor to join a well-established Tier 3 contractor in a nationally focused role.

Based in Brisbane, you will play a key role in supporting the company's safety function across multiple projects nationally, with a particular focus on providing additional support to operations in NSW.

The position will involve regular engagement with project teams, site visits and monthly travel to NSW, working closely with operational leaders to maintain strong safety standards and drive a positive safety culture.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Safety Advisor who enjoys working autonomously, building relationships across different teams and having a genuine influence on safety outcomes.

About You:

• Previous experience in a Safety Advisor role within commercial construction.
• Experience across a diverse range of projects, including new builds, fit-outs and refurbishments.
• Exposure to multiple sectors, including retail, hospitality, commercial, education, government and industrial.
• Strong understanding of construction HSE requirements and the ability to apply these across varied project environments.
• Confident engaging with site teams, subcontractors and project stakeholders at all levels.
• Comfortable managing multiple projects, prioritising workloads and working autonomously.
• Practical and proactive approach to driving safety standards and fostering a positive safety culture.
