Job summary

Ferrovial, through its Webber subsidiary, seeks a Project Superintendent to lead day-to-day field operations on a major infrastructure project in Sydney. You will supervise zone superintendents, coordinate schedules, manage subcontractors, and ensure contract compliance on cost-effective, safe delivery.

The role requires 3-5 years of skilled trade or engineering experience, knowledge of roadway/bridge methods, and at least one year in people management.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of skilled trade/engineering experience in roadway/bridge construction.
• Lead and manage people for at least 1 year.
• Knowledge of safety, environment, and EEO/DBE guidelines.
• Ability to read/interpret plans and contract specifications.
• Experience with project reporting and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Direct Zone Superintendents to complete condition assessments and ensure contract compliance.
• Coordinate subcontractor performance, budgets, and schedules.
• Monitor financial and operational performance; prepare management reports.
• Serve as technical advisor to Zone Supervisors and subcontractors.
• Review and approve work schedules; ensure safe operations and briefs to PM.
• Maintain records, supervise staff, and manage project assets.
