Job summary

NTRO in Perth invites a Senior/Principal asset management professional with deep knowledge of the Western Australian road environment to lead complex client work and deliver high-impact outcomes across roads, rail, ports and airports.

This role combines technical leadership, trusted client advice and business development to strengthen NTRO’s Road asset management capability in Western Australia and beyond, mentoring others and shaping growth in the market.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in the Australian roads sector, including asset management or infrastructure advisory work.
• Strong knowledge of Main Roads WA, WA Local Government and road asset management practices.
• Led consultancy or advisory projects for government clients with accountability for delivery.
• Technical capability across road infrastructure assets with sound judgement and problem-solving.
• Commercially minded with experience identifying opportunities, shaping proposals and growing the business.
• Influential communicator who can build credibility with senior clients, partners and technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex road asset management strategies, advisory assignments and improvement programs for government and industry clients.
• Provide senior technical direction, quality assurance and practical advice across road infrastructure asset portfolios.
• Develop trusted relationships with Main Roads WA, local government and other key stakeholders across Western Australia.
• Identify opportunities, shape solutions, prepare proposals, and contribute to winning new work.
• Lead project scope, delivery, budgets, risks, reports and client outcomes.
• Mentor and guide less experienced team members while maintaining high-quality technical practices.
• Help define and grow NTRO’s Road asset management offering and market presence in Western Australia.
