Job summary

ING is seeking a Senior Business Partner, Risk & Control to join the ODCR team in Australia. You will support non-financial regulatory and compliance risk activities in the 1st line of defence and advise senior stakeholders.

This role involves partnering with executives, coordinating risk assessments, and guiding risk in change initiatives across banking products and processes. Flexible working options and employee benefits are part of the offering.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in operational risk, compliance, or related risk management within banking lines of defence.
• Experience in banking environment with understanding of banking products, operations and end-to-end processes.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior executives and business leaders to identify, assess and manage operational, regulatory and compliance risks.
• Facilitate risk and control self-assessments (RCSAs), risk profiling and reviews of products, processes and controls.
• Provide guidance on risk in change initiatives, projects and transformation programs.
• Lead investigations, root-cause analysis, reviews and remediation of systemic issues.
• Coordinate responses to regulatory developments, impact assessments and inquiries.
• Serve as liaison between business and second line risk and compliance teams.
• Support governance forums, reporting and decision-making through risk analysis.
• Coach and uplift business capability through training and risk awareness.
