CommBank is seeking a Senior Manager Risk and Control Advisory and Delivery to lead risk reporting, controls design, and governance across IB&M Finance. You will oversee risk profiling, CAP testing, and automation opportunities while engaging senior stakeholders to uplift risk capability.

The role emphasizes broad influence, independent leadership, and a strong finance/risk background within a regulated financial services setting.

• Strong Line 1 Risk & Controls experience in a complex, regulated organisation.
• Proactive, driven approach to independently lead work and drive outcomes.
• Ability to identify and assess risks and strengthen control environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing capability at all levels.
• Navigate complexity and ambiguity with sound judgement.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven experience leading change and continuous improvement.
• Experience in banking/financial services is highly regarded.
• Knowledge of operational risk and compliance; exposure to markets desirable.
• Tertiary qualifications in accounting/finance/risk advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare risk reporting for FS non-financial risk committees and forums.
• Identify opportunities for automation and uplift in risk reporting processes.
• Design and implement controls with the business.
• Ensure risks are profiled in the Risk Profile (RCSA) and updated when triggers occur.
• Manage root cause analysis and implement control improvements.
• Conduct CAP testing and report assurance findings.
• Support strategic planning with analysis and reporting on the Risk Appetite Statement (RAS).
• Administer governance forums with minuting and actions.
• Participate in group-wide efforts to improve risk and control environment.
