Job summary

Commonwealth Bank (CommBank) is seeking a Senior Manager in Economic Crime Risk Advisory to guide risk posture across Institutional Banking & Markets and Group Treasury. You will provide expert advice on AML/CTF, sanctions, AB&C, and fraud controls, partnering with IB&M and GT teams to strengthen governance.

You will lead responses to regulatory inquiries, develop risk reporting, and influence leadership on strategic projects.

Qualifications

Experience in economic crime compliance, with deep knowledge of AML/CTF, sanctions, and AB&C regulations, preferably in IB/MB advisory capacity.
Ability to assess economic crime risks related to customers, transactions, and products.
Exposure and experience in dealing with international regulatory obligations.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers.
Confidence when participating in forums and presenting complex risk insights.
Strong communication and executive writing skills.
