Qualifications

• 3–5 years in risk management and/or compliance
• 3–5 years in control assurance and incident management
• Knowledge of life insurance and superannuation regulations (e.g., Corporations Act, SIS Act, Life Insurance Code)
• Understanding of insurance risk and regulatory environment
• Strong analytical, judgement and attention to detail
• Stakeholder engagement, influencing and negotiation skills
• Clear written and verbal communication of technical information

Responsibilities

• Lead GL&R obligations and regulatory compliance oversight.
• Advise stakeholders on complex risk and compliance matters.
• Assess risk across business change initiatives for safe implementation.
• Strengthen risk governance with reporting and oversight of operations.
• Drive incident and breach management and remediation actions.
• Evaluate controls to strengthen risk processes and identify improvements.
• Coach the Line 1 Risk team and promote a proactive risk culture.
