Job summary

Elders in Australia seeks a Risk Assurance Manager on a permanent full-time basis to shape the next phase of our risk and assurance capability. You will own the enterprise assurance map and rolling Line 2 plan, lead control testing, thematic reviews and targeted risk work.

Reporting to the Head of Group Risk and Compliance, you will provide independent Line 2 assurance, deliver clear insights to senior leaders, and help uplift the risk program as we implement a new operating model.

Qualifications

• Must have tertiary qualification in audit, risk, accounting, or law, or equivalent.
• Experience delivering assurance reviews from scoping to action tracking.
• Strong judgement in assessing control design and effectiveness.
• Excellent communication to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the enterprise assurance map and rolling Line 2 plan.
• Deliver hands-on, risk-based assurance activities and testing.
• Provide independent Line 2 assurance and constructive challenge.
• Support remediation tracking and closure of findings.
• Prepare assurance reports for senior leaders and Board committees.
