City of Darwin is seeking a highly motivated (Senior) Risk and Performance Advisor to join our Corporate and Customer Service team. This is an exciting opportunity for a governance, compliance, risk, or performance professional who enjoys working across multiple disciplines and influencing organisational excellence.
Reporting to the Risk Management Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting and enhancing City of Darwin's corporate performance, risk management, internal audit, compliance, insurance and governance frameworks.
You will work collaboratively across the organisation to:
You bring a strong understanding of corporate governance and risk management, sound written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders across the organisation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a high level of ICT literacy are essential to the role. You must be comfortable working autonomously, and experience in local government will be highly regarded.
