Job summary

Gold Fields Australia is seeking an experienced Senior Resource Geologist to join the Group Technical Geology Resource team in Perth. You will generate, maintain and review mineral inventory and Mineral Resource models, and manage geological data and QA/QC systems.

This permanent role offers a Monday-Friday or 9-day fortnight roster with monthly 4-day site visits, flexible options (full-time, part-time or job share) and a competitive package with STIP/LTIP and private health insurance allowances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in geology with strong numeric focus.
• Minimum 5 years combined mine, exploration or project geology.
• Experience in resource modeling and estimation techniques.
• Knowledge of QA/QC and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Generate, maintain and review Mineral Resource models.
• Manage geological data and QA/QC systems.
• Develop strategies for resource evaluation and reporting.
• Ensure models meet SAMREC, JORC and SOX standards.
• Audit and review models for quality and reconciliation.
