Job summary

Norton Gold Fields, located in Kalgoorlie, is hiring a Resource Geologist to enhance their Mine Geology team. This permanent full-time role involves supporting the delivery of accurate resource models and grade control.

The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Geology and previous resource estimation experience, preferably in a gold mining setting. Benefits include private health insurance and long service leave after 5 years.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of relevant experience in geology or resource estimation.
• Experience with JORC requirements and technical documentation.
• Strong understanding of grade control and reconciliation processes.

Responsibilities

• Complete resource model updates and production grade control models.
• Build and maintain geological interpretations and wireframes.
• Validate model inputs before estimation.
