Job summary

GHD in Perth, Australia, is expanding its Energy team to support renewable energy initiatives across Western Australia. We’re seeking project engineers and senior engineers to contribute to development and delivery, owner’s engineer services, and technical advisory.

You will lead or co-deliver wind and other renewable projects, coordinate multidisciplinary inputs, manage schedules and budgets, and work with our global network to deliver practical outcomes. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical or mechanical engineering; masters in renewable energy welcome.
• 5–15 years’ experience in wind, renewable energy, power generation or major infrastructure.
• Experience delivering or supporting wind farm development and owner’s engineer services.
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage competing priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication; client and stakeholder liaison.

Responsibilities

• Support development and delivery of wind and renewable energy projects across Australia.
• Coordinate technical inputs across multidisciplinary teams while managing schedules and budgets.
• Contribute to owner’s engineer services, project development and technical advice.
• Prepare and review scopes of work, technical specifications and early stage engineering design.
• Support procurement, contractor engagement and construction-phase activities.
• Manage project risks and interfaces, and build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Work with colleagues across Australia and our global network to deliver practical project outcomes.
• Contribute to proposals and help identify how we can support clients.
