Job summary

GHD is seeking an Energy Project Engineer/Project Manager to join our Victoria & Tasmania region, helping to develop wind, solar and storage projects from concept through FID and delivery. This role requires coordinating technical, environmental, planning, stakeholder, and delivery workstreams while engaging with clients and leading GHD resources.

The position supports flexible locations around Melbourne, Hobart or other GHD offices in the two states, and emphasizes leadership of

Qualifications

Experience across the renewable energy development lifecycle, including early development, planning and approvals, stakeholder engagement, network connection, and progression towards FID.
Strong client-facing and commercial capability with relationships across developers, owners, contractors and market participants.
Proven capability to lead multidisciplinary teams and deliver integrated solutions.

Responsibilities

Lead wind, solar and battery energy storage projects through development and delivery stages.
Identify development risks and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to mitigate them.
Act as Project Engineer or Project Manager for complex renewable energy assignments.
Collaborate with developers, asset owners, contractors and market participants to shape projects and create client value.
Lead proposals and coordinate technical specialists to deliver integrated, commercially sound solutions.
