Job summary

Octopus Australia is seeking a senior Asset Management leader to drive the performance of our wind, solar and storage assets. You will lead teams, develop people and deliver scalable systems to support portfolio growth.

The role combines deep technical expertise with strong commercial acumen across multiple assets and stakeholders. You will embed data-driven decision making, digital systems and AI-enabled processes to improve efficiency, reporting, and investor value, reporting to the Assets

Qualifications

• Eligibility to work in Australia – visa sponsorship is not offered.
• Demonstrated experience leading, mentoring and developing high-performing teams.
• Experience managing portfolios of renewable energy assets (wind, solar, storage).
• Ability to implement scalable systems and operating models.
• Experience with Australian projects connected to the NEM is preferred.
• Tertiary qualification in project management, engineering or related field.
• Strong contract environments knowledge and health, safety, and environmental practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Asset Managers and technical specialists across a growing portfolio.
• Oversee technical and commercial performance of multiple wind, solar and storage assets.
• Identify performance improvement opportunities and drive initiatives.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to resolve performance issues with urgency.
• Develop data-driven performance frameworks and reporting for stakeholders.
• Drive systems improvement, digital tools, automation and AI-enabled solutions.
• Prepare monthly asset and quarterly board reports with insights for leadership.
