Job summary

RES Australia seeks an Asset Manager to oversee a portfolio of renewable energy assets including wind, solar PV and storage. You will act as the primary client contact, drive value through contract management and ensure safety, quality, and environmental performance across the lifecycle.

You will manage budgets, coordinate with the O&M contractor, and lead project reporting and risk management to maximise asset performance and stakeholder engagement within the RES portfolio.

Qualifications

• Experience in asset management within renewable energy projects; familiarity with National Electricity Markets preferred.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and contract obligations.
• Strong budgeting, planning and risk management skills; knowledge of HSE/Environmental performance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple renewable energy assets (wind, solar, storage) ensuring contractual, safety, quality and environmental compliance.
• Manage client relationships and act as primary contact for variations and additional services.
• Lead day-to-day asset management including O&M contractor coordination and budget management.
• Develop and maintain asset management plans, risk registers, and performance reporting.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with National Electricity Rules and related approvals.
• Foster community relations and ensure timely reporting to stakeholders.
