Job summary

RWM - PeopleIN is seeking a Senior Rendering Supervisor to lead a small team in Cooma and manage daily rendering and by-product operations. The role offers a permanent full-time position with a Monday-Friday roster and a typical start around 8am, with some flexibility.

The ideal candidate has rendering experience in red meat processing and prior leadership roles. A strong focus on safety, good communication, and basic maintenance knowledge are valued; relocation assistance is available for the

Qualifications

Rendering experience in a red meat processing environment.
Experience as Leading Hand, Supervisor or Manager.
Strong knowledge of rendering and by-product processes.
Good communication and organisational skills.
Hands-on approach with a strong focus on safety.
Basic maintenance knowledge and boiler licence desirable.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily rendering and by-product operations.
Lead, train and supervise the team.
Monitor production, yields, waste and product recovery.
Ensure safety, hygiene, quality and environmental compliance.
Oversee rendering, tallow, blood, paunch and hide processing.
Collaborate with Maintenance and other departments to keep operations running smoothly.
Maintain records and assist with audits and environmental compliance.
Identify opportunities to improve safety and efficiency.
