Job summary
Siemens Energy is seeking a Senior REC Engineer specializing in PCS 7 to provide advanced remote technical support for customers across the Pacific region. The role focuses on monitoring system health, troubleshooting complex control issues, and supporting lifecycle activities to ensure reliable plant operations.
You will act as a trusted advisor, addressing technical challenges and driving continuous improvement, while collaborating with global teams and customers in a 24/7 service environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Automation/Computer Engineering or equivalent.
- 8–12 years of experience with Siemens PCS 7 engineering, support, commissioning or lifecycle management.
- PCS 7 Engineering and system administration proficiency (ES/OS).
- CCNA or equivalent industrial networking certification advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced remote technical support for PCS 7 across the Pacific region.
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot complex control issues, and support lifecycle activities.
- Analyze alarms and diagnostics to prevent issues and improve reliability.
- Collaborate with global teams and customers, documenting findings and actions.
- Contribute to knowledge articles and continuous improvement in the Remote Expert Center.
