Job summary

Siemens Energy in Sydney seeks a Senior Remote Expert Center Engineer specializing in PCS 7 to deliver advanced remote technical support across the Pacific region. You will monitor system health, diagnose and resolve complex control issues, and support lifecycle activities to ensure reliable plant operations.

You will collaborate with customers and global experts, maintain accurate documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with 8–12 years of experience in Siemens PCS 7 engineering, support, commissioning or lifecycle management.
Hands-on experience with PCS 7 Engineering and system administration, ES/OS knowledge.
CCNA or equivalent industrial networking certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

Monitor system health and diagnose PCS 7 issues across the Pacific region.
Provide remote and on-site technical support for PCS 7 DCS and resolve software/hardware/network problems.
Support lifecycle activities: upgrades, migrations, patch management, backups, health checks, and root cause analysis.
Maintain accurate technical documentation and contribute to knowledge-sharing and best practices.
Collaborate with customers and internal experts to ensure reliable plant operations.
