Job summary

Siemens Energy Pty. Ltd. in Australia is seeking a Senior REC Engineer specializing in PCS 7 to deliver advanced remote technical support for customers across the Pacific region.

You will monitor health, diagnose complex issues, and assist lifecycle activities to ensure reliable plant operations. You will act as a trusted advisor, helping maximize system availability, improve performance, and address technical challenges through proactive and reactive services, with potential on-site support

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Automation, Instrumentation, or equivalent.
• 8–12 years of experience in Siemens PCS 7 engineering, support, commissioning, troubleshooting, or lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced remote technical support to customers across the Pacific region.
• Monitor system health and troubleshoot complex PCS 7 issues.
• Support lifecycle activities: upgrades, migrations, patch management, backups, health checks.
• Build trusted relationships with customers and contribute to knowledge sharing.
