Indigenous Managed Services (IMS) in Western Australia is seeking a Senior Recruitment Consultant to own a busy blue-collar desk across mining, civil construction, energy and engineering sectors.

You will manage end-to-end recruitment from sourcing to onboarding, building strong relationships with candidates and clients, and delivering high-volume staffing solutions while upholding compliance and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in blue-collar recruitment across mining, resources, civil construction, trades or labour hire.
• End-to-end recruitment management experience.
• Customer service orientation for clients and candidates.
• Strong knowledge of blue-collar tickets, licences and competencies.
• Excellent sourcing and talent-pooling skills.
• Ability to manage high-volume and priority recruitment needs.
• Strong relationship management and communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously with ownership of the portfolio.
• Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment of blue-collar roles across mining, construction, manufacturing, transport and energy sectors.
• Advertise, source, screen and shortlist candidates; coordinate client interviews and offers.
• Ensure compliance documentation, medicals, police clearances and onboarding; mobilise new hires.
• Maintain candidate pipelines and regular communication with clients.
• Attend client meetings and support the Agency Manager.

Senior Recruitment Consultant | Advisor - Blue Collar

Indigenous Managed Services (IMS) is seeking an experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant | Advisor - Blue Collar to join our team and take ownership of a busy and diverse recruitment portfolio.

IMS is a well-established recruitment and labour hire business, working across mining, resources, civil construction, infrastructure, government and industrial sectors throughout Western Australia. We are a well-developed recruitment agency who has on-going contracts and are on multiple Recruitment and Labour Hire panels.

This is a hands-on Senior Recruitment role suited to someone who knows the blue-collar market, can confidently manage multiple vacancies and clients, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

You'll manage the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing and screening through to placement, onboarding and mobilisation, while building strong relationships with candidates and clients.

The Role

You'll recruit across a broad range of blue-collar positions from the Mining, Construction, Manufacturing, Transport, Energy and Engineering Industries.

• Managing end-to-end recruitment of Non-Indigenous and Indigenous personnel across labour hire and permanent vacancies
• Managing multiple active vacancies across a range of clients and projects
• Advertising and proactively sourcing and engaging suitable candidates
• Writing and posting job advertisements
• Screening, interviewing and shortlisting candidates
• Assessing experience, tickets, licences and competencies
• Preparing candidate submissions and recommendations
• Co-ordinating client interviews, references and employment offers
• Managing pre-employment requirements including medicals, police clearances and compliance documentation
• Co-ordinating onboarding, mobilisation and commencement requirements
• Developing and maintaining strong candidate talent pools
• Maintaining regular communication with candidates and clients
• Providing a high level of service throughout the recruitment process
• Maintaining accurate recruitment and candidate records
• Attend client meetings when required
• Support the Agency Manager

About You

We're looking for an experienced recruiter who understands blue-collar recruitment and labour hire and can confidently take ownership of a busy desk.

To be successful, you'll ideally have:

• Strong experience in blue-collar recruitment
• Recruitment experience across mining, resources, civil construction, trades, industrial or labour hire
• Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end recruitment (Experience with Job Adder a plus)
• A customer service-orientated approach to clients and candidates.
• A strong understanding of blue-collar tickets, licences, trades and competencies
• Excellent candidate sourcing and talent pooling skills
• Confidence managing high-volume and priority recruitment requirements
• Strong client and candidate relationship management skills
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• The confidence to work autonomously and take ownership of your recruitment portfolio.
