Mytra's Brisbane-based robotics team seeks an experienced Senior Software Engineer to develop software for motion control, task execution, and safety management of our robotic fleet. You will own firmware development across the product lifecycle and collaborate across hardware and software teams to deliver real-time embedded systems.

You will lead integration of prototype systems, build robust diagnostic tools, and drive architecture decisions grounded in best practices.

Formación

• BS in Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience with C/C++/Rust and system level environments.
• Strong Python experience for application and process development.
• Ability to break down complex problems into incremental progress in CI environments.
• Experience coding in concurrent and multithreaded environments.
• Understanding of electromechanical systems, robotics control, and hardware/software interaction.
• Familiarity with CAN, Ethernet, TCP/IP, UDP, and pub/sub (NATS).
• Experience with Git and software version management.
• Knowledge of software design and maintainability patterns.
• Preferred embedded software/firmware development experience.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver high quality code across robotics software stack layers.
• Develop real-time code for control and safety functions.
• Support complete lifecycle of software features from definition to rollout.
• Lead integration of prototype systems with bring-up, debugging, and testing.
• Own and deliver secure, high-performance integration solutions across cloud and edge.
• Design and maintain integration plugins interfacing with external systems via APIs.
• Drive architecture decisions with data-informed, best-practice approaches.
• Create reusable components for consistency and scalability across integrations.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for building, testing, and publishing plugins.
• Document technical solutions for both technical and non-technical audiences.
