Job summary

Mytra is seeking a Robotics Controls Engineer to architect and implement motion control systems for warehouse robotics, integrating sensing, perception, and actuation across multi-disciplinary teams.

You will design real-time embedded software, communication architectures, and control algorithms for precise, safe, and efficient robot motion in complex environments, with hands-on work in C++ and Python, simulation, and production readiness.

Qualifications

• Strong background in control theory, kinematics, dynamics, and system modeling for electromechanical systems.
• Experience with motor control (BLDC, servo) and sensor integration (encoders, IMUs, cameras).
• Familiarity with CAN bus, pub/sub frameworks, distributed control architectures, and safety standards (ISO 13849, IEC 61508).

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement motion control frameworks for multi-axis robotic systems (actuator control, trajectory generation, path execution).
• Design and integrate communication architectures for distributed controllers and sensors.
• Develop, simulate, and tune control algorithms for position, velocity, torque, and force; apply Kalman filter-based state estimation.
• Lead sensor fusion and localization to ensure robust real-time state estimation in simulated and real environments.
• Build and maintain simulation and automated test tools; translate into production-ready implementations.
• Iterate between simulation and hardware testing to diagnose corner cases and improve robustness.
