Job summary

Montgomery Advisory is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Real Estate & Projects practice in Melbourne or Sydney. You will work with Partners and a national team on complex property matters, including acquisitions, disposals, developments and leasing.

The role requires 5+ years of post-admission experience, strong drafting and negotiation skills, and the ability to mentor junior lawyers within a collaborative, high-performing team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of post-admission experience in private practice or in-house teams.
• Strong front-end property experience including acquisitions, disposals and leasing.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and transaction management skills.
• Ability to mentor junior lawyers and contribute to a high-performing team.

Responsibilities

• Advise on complex commercial property transactions including acquisitions, disposals, developments and leasing.
• Act on high-value capital transactions and major property developments for diverse clients.
• Draft, review and negotiate development agreements and commercial leases.
• Assist with property due diligence and manage significant property portfolios.
