Job summary

Montgomery Advisory is assisting a leading independent Australian law firm in Melbourne to recruit a Lawyer or Associate (2–4 PQE) for the Real Estate team. You will advise on commercial property matters, with a focus on leasing for retail and commercial properties.

You will work with senior Partners, draft and negotiate leasing documents, and provide practical advice to clients across major property transactions in Melbourne.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years post-admission experience in a well-regarded property practice.
• Strong drafting skills and attention to detail.
• Solid understanding of commercial property transactions and leasing.

Responsibilities

• Advise on a broad range of commercial property matters, with focus on leasing.
• Act for institutional investors, developers, landlords and operators.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial leasing agreements and related documents.
• Provide practical, commercially focused advice throughout transactions.
