Job summary

Hall & Wilcox is expanding its national Property & Projects team in Perth with an experienced real estate lawyer (4+ years post-admission). You will work on a broad range of WA projects and support teams nationally, handling transactions, due diligence, land development, and leasing across office, industrial and retail sectors.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate excellent drafting, analytical skills, and client service focus, with mentoring experience and strong proficiency in PEXA and compliance

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ post-admission experience in property law.
• Significant experience across general real estate matters: transactions, acquisitions, sales and developments.
• Excellent drafting skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and legal research abilities.
• Commercial acumen with a client-service focus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Collaborative, aligns with company values; mentoring/supervising juniors.
• Proficiency with PEXA and duties compliance; ability to manage multiple real estate matters.

Responsibilities

• Involved in a broad range of real estate projects for diverse clients across WA and Australia.
• Handle sales and acquisitions, due diligence and land development
• Oversee lease matters – office, industrial and retail
• Manage land titles, land use, easements and related matters
• Address adverse possession and compulsory acquisitions
• Draft development agreements for developers and public sector clients
• Provide general property transactions advice and client support
