Qualifications

• Five years’ experience developing transport strategies and/or plans, with a focus on rail.
• Strong understanding of Victoria’s freight and passenger rail network, with technical expertise in rail systems.
• Engineering qualification or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop rail strategies and plans for Victoria’s passenger and freight network.
• Advise leaders on emerging issues affecting rail.
• Provide technical input on signalling, traction power, rollingstock, operational systems and supporting infrastructure.
