Job summary

UGL Regional Linx in New South Wales is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead contamination and remediation projects across the Country Regional Network. This hands-on role partners with diverse teams, contractors and stakeholders to deliver safe, high-quality infrastructure outcomes.

You will guide projects from concept through to completion, champion safety, manage budgets, schedules and governance, and contribute to continuous improvement across the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field.
• Chartered Engineer status or progress towards chartership.
• Strong safety leadership and wellbeing focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination and delivery of contamination projects to meet safety, quality, schedule and budget goals.
• Build relationships with internal teams, contractors, suppliers and clients.
• Manage project programs, budgets and reporting requirements.
• Ensure construction activities comply with rail standards, engineering requirements and legislation.
• Support design reviews and governance processes.
• Champion safe work practices across project teams.
• Oversee contractor performance to achieve quality and commercial outcomes.
• Monitor project performance and identify delivery improvements.
• Provide regular project updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
