Job summary

UGL Regional Linx is seeking a Project Engineer to support contamination and remediation projects across regional NSW. You will coordinate fieldwork, lead project planning and drive safe, compliant delivery from concept to completion within a collaborative team.

The role requires hands-on environmental expertise, strong communication with contractors and stakeholders, and willingness to travel throughout regional NSW to deliver positive infrastructure outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology or related discipline
• Experience in contaminated land management, site investigation, remediation and environmental management principles
• Willingness to travel across regional NSW and work with diverse teams

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and deliver contamination and remediation projects across the Country Regional Network to meet safety, quality, schedule and budget objectives
• Build strong relationships with internal teams, contractors, suppliers and clients
• Manage project programs, budgets and reporting requirements
• Ensure construction activities comply with rail standards and environmental obligations
• Support design reviews and governance processes, oversee contractor performance and monitor delivery outcomes
