Job summary

UGL Regional Linx in New South Wales seeks a Senior Project Engineer to lead contamination and remediation projects across the Country Regional Network, delivering safe and compliant outcomes for regional communities.

You will coordinate diverse teams, manage budgets, oversee governance and reporting, and drive continuous improvement in rail safety and project delivery. Chartered status is encouraged; strong leadership and stakeholder skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field.
• Chartered Engineer status, progress towards chartership, or intention to pursue chartership.
• Strong safety leadership and commitment to wellbeing of personnel and communities served.
• Ability to lead by example and foster safety culture aligned with rail principles.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination and delivery of contamination and remediation projects to meet safety, quality, schedule and budget goals.
• Build strong relationships with internal teams, contractors, suppliers and clients.
• Manage project programs, budgets and reporting requirements.
