Job summary

UGL Regional Linx is seeking a Project Engineer to lead contamination and remediation initiatives across the Country Regional Network in regional NSW. This hands-on role involves working with diverse teams, contractors and stakeholders to safely deliver projects that improve critical transport infrastructure for regional communities.

You will manage planning, coordination, budgets and reporting, support design reviews, and champion safe work practices while travelling across regional NSW to

Qualifications

• Degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology or related discipline.
• Experience in contaminated land assessment, remediation and environmental management.
• Willingness to travel and oversee site works across regional NSW.
• Knowledge of environmental legislation and guidelines.
• Experience working with contractors, consultants and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and deliver contamination and remediation projects on time and within budget.
• Build relationships with internal teams, contractors, suppliers and clients.
• Manage project programs, budgets and reporting requirements.
• Ensure activities comply with rail standards and engineering requirements.
• Support design reviews and manage changes through governance processes.
• Champion safe work practices and monitor contractor performance.
• Provide regular project updates to senior leadership.
