Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, IT or equivalent.
• At least 5 years’ experience in software development with design documentation.
• Experience with C++, Java or similar OO languages and XML/XSLT.
• Ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines and work independently.
• Rail industry experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Analyze component requirements from input subsystems and designs.
• Design components and produce architecture/design specs per EN 50128 SIL 0.
• Write interface specifications and document message formats.
• Develop component software following coding standards.
• Develop component test scripts in Python using the in‑house framework.
