Job summary

Altus Group in Sydney is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor with 5-10 years' experience to join our Development Advisory division. You will provide cost advice, prepare cash flows, and price estimates across pre- and post-contract stages.

You will lead a team of quantity surveyors, liaise with clients and design teams, and ensure financial efficiency on projects while using CostX and Buildsoft in a dynamic, inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years in Quantity Surveying.
• Accreditation in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
• Membership in a professional body preferred (AIQS, RICS, CIOB).

Responsibilities

• Provide detailed cost advice, cash flow, estimates, and BOQ pricing.
• Perform pre and post contract QS tasks and take-off.
• Attend design team meetings and assist in value management.
• Conduct site visits and valuations of completed work.
• Update cost reports, cost analyses, and monthly summaries.
• Manage client relationships and coordinate with consultants.
• Lead a team of quantity surveyors and mentor juniors.
