Job summary

Altus Group is seeking a proactive Quantity Surveyor in Sydney to drive cost efficiency across construction projects. You will perform detailed cost analyses, cost plans, and feasibility studies, deliver trades take-offs, and manage risks related to changes on site.

The role involves site visits, valuations, cash flow preparation, and close collaboration with clients and internal teams. Ideal candidates will have accreditation in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management, 2–5 years of QS

The range does not include additional compensation such as bonuses, equity, benefits, or other incentives.**Reporting to the Associate Director of Development Advisory, the Quantity Surveyor is passionate about helping clients manage their Construction costs. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be involved in ensuring financial efficiency through the various stages of construction.****Key Responsibilities** **:*** Conduct detailed cost analyses, estimates, cost plans and feasibility studies for construction projects.* Completion of full trade and elemental take-off;* Measuring quantities for variations and managing risks in relation to changes;* Undertake site visit and complete valuations of work complete on site;* Prepare cash flows;* Managing client relations and assist in establishing a client's requirements;* Provide expert advice on cost-effective construction methods and materials.* Undertake cost analysis and feasibility studies.**Key Qualifications:*** Expertise and accreditation in Quantity Surveying, or Construction Management.* 2 -5 year's Quantity Surveying experience* Membership in an approved Professional Body (eg.
