Job summary

Altus Group in Sydney's Development Advisory division is recruiting an Associate Quantity Surveyor. The successful candidate reports to a Director, provides quantity surveying services to new and existing clients, and leads a team delivering that output.

The role covers public education, health, commercial and residential markets, managing client relationships, delivering projects to budget and programme, and contributing to business development. Mentoring junior staff is part of the role.

Qualifications

• Degree in quantity surveying or construction management.
• Minimum of seven years in the industry.
• Accreditation and membership of an approved professional body.

Responsibilities

• Meet client deliverable and financial performance targets.
• Assist Associate Director with fee forecasting, budgeting and reporting.
• Prepare submissions and manage client relationships.
• Deliver projects to budget and programme, and contribute to business development.
• Mentor junior staff and assist with running the business unit.
