Zusammenfassung

Altus Group in Perth is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor with 5–8 years' experience to join our Development Advisory division. You will work under the Director, advising clients on cost management and financial efficiency across healthcare, education, residential, commercial, and other sectors.

Responsibilities include cost planning, BOQs, take-offs, cash flows, cost reporting, and client liaison. You will mentor junior staff and use Buildsoft, Cost X and MS Office to deliver accurate outcomes.

Qualifikationen

• Expertise and accreditation in Quantity Surveying, or Construction Management.
• Minimum 5 year's Quantity Surveying experience.
• Membership in an approved Professional Body - preferred (eg. AIQS, RICS, CIOB).
• Advanced knowledge of the local construction industry including development, contracting and consulting sectors.
• Strong analytic and problem-solving abilities.
• Self-motivated with a high degree of integrity, honesty and ethics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated skills in client file management, planning and organisation.

Aufgaben

• Providing accurate cost advice to clients.
• Pricing of estimates, cost plans and BOQs.
• Completion of complex trade and elemental take-offs.
• Assist in VM preparation.
• Attend design team meetings.
• Measuring quantities for variations.
• Undertake site visits and valuations of work completed on site.
• Preparation of cash flows.
• Amend / update / reconcile Cost Reports.
• Undertake cost analysis and writing of monthly reports.
• Review financing agreements / funding arrangements.
• Ability to meet and manage clients and other professional consultants.
• Assist in establishing client requirements and feasibility studies.
• Maintain ongoing client communication and resolve issues expeditiously.
• Manage a team of Quantity Surveyors including mentoring of junior employees.
• Ability to use MS Office; Buildsoft and CostX.
