Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field is required.
• 3–5+ years of experience as a client-side Quantity Surveyor in Australia or equivalent for senior level.
• Proficiency in CostX and Microsoft Office.
• AIQS and/or RICS accreditation is preferred.
• Strong understanding of cost planning, contract administration, and commercial management principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client-facing environments.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost plans, estimates, and quantities across concept, design, and construction phases.
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and market data to develop pricing and benchmarks.
• Support procurement activities including tender documentation and bid analysis.
• Administer contracts, review and validate progress claims and variations.
• Monitor project budgets and track expenditures against cost plans and forecasts.
• Identify cost risks and opportunities, supporting value engineering and optimization initiatives.
• Prepare cost reports, financial forecasts, and client presentations.
• Utilize CostX and other digital tools for measurement, estimating, and reporting.
