Job summary

S&you is seeking a Quantity Surveyor/Senior Quantity Surveyor in Melbourne to join its growing consultancy. You will handle cost management, BOQs, tender analysis, contract administration and provide commercial guidance across residential and commercial projects.

The role offers exposure to pre- and post-contract services and strong mentorship within a collaborative team. With 4-8+ years' experience, you’ll work directly with clients and builders to keep projects financially on track while

Qualifications

• 4-8+ years of Quantity Surveying experience
• Experience in consultancy or cost management
• Strong exposure to pre and post-contract services
• Ability to prepare BOQs and undertake detailed measurements
• Sound understanding of construction costs, procurement and contract administration
• Experience assessing variations and contractor claims
• Strong communication and client-facing skills
• Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, Construction Management or related discipline

• Preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQs)
• Detailed measurement and quantity take-offs
• Cost planning and estimating
