Modos Group is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our expanding team. Based in Melbourne (or Brisbane/Sydney nearby), you will own a diverse portfolio, conduct site inspections, assess building costs and deliver cost reports across insurance projects.

You will work with our Principal QS and experienced colleagues, enjoying autonomy and support to grow within a growing consultancy. Travel to site and client meetings will be involved.

Qualifikationen

• Qualifications in Quantity Surveying (mandatory).
• Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
• Experience within insurance claims.
• Strong construction knowledge and understanding of building costs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Confidence dealing directly with clients and stakeholders.
• Ability to manage own workload and portfolio.
• Practical, analytical problem-solving approach.
• Willingness to undertake site inspections and travel.

• Managing your own portfolio of Quantity Surveying matters.
• Undertaking site inspections and assessments.
• Preparing cost estimates and quantity surveying reports.
• Reviewing building costs, quotations and supporting documentation.
• Working on insurance claims involving a variety of property types.
• Liaising with insurers, loss adjusters, builders, consultants and property owners.
• Providing clear, commercially focused advice to clients.
• Collaborating with Principal Quantity Surveyor and wider teams.
• Managing competing priorities and progressing matters efficiently.
• Building strong, long-term relationships with clients.
