Job summary

Laing O'Rourke is delivering Australia's largest defence infrastructure program and seeks a Senior Quantity Surveyor for the ANI/NPSCY project in Osborne, SA. You will oversee budgets, risks and commercial entitlements while maintaining client and supplier relationships to drive successful delivery.

Ideal candidates hold MRICS and a building/engineering degree, with 7+ years in quantity surveying in construction and strong Excel skills. Australian citizenship and NV1-ready clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Attained or working towards MRICS.
• Minimum 7 years post-graduate experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry.
• Construction Management, Building, Engineering degree or equivalent.
• Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• Applicants must be Australian citizens and able to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance to NV1 level.

Responsibilities

• Manage project budgets, cost planning, forecasting, cash flow and financial reporting.
• Identify, assess and mitigate commercial risks and opportunities to optimise project outcomes.
• Oversee change management, claims, extensions of time and commercial entitlements.
• Build and maintain strong client, stakeholder and supply chain relationships while influencing successful project delivery.
