Job summary

Laing O'Rourke is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our AUKUS team delivering the Nuclear-Powered Submarine Construction Yard project in Osborne, South Australia. You will lead delivery across complex, multidisciplinary projects and build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and suppliers.

With a minimum of 10 years' construction/engineering project experience and a relevant degree, you will coach teams, drive strategic planning and ensure safe, on-time delivery in line with

• A minimum of 10 years' construction/engineering project experience.
• Proven construction or engineering project experience.
• Strong design knowledge to drive constructability outcomes.
• Degree in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical) or Construction Management or equivalent.
• Australian citizenship and ability to obtain Australian Defence NV1 clearance.

Laing O'Rourke, with joint venture partner Amentum Australia,will play a central role in supporting Australian Naval Infrastructure (ANI) to develop and deliver the Nuclear-Powered Submarine Construction Yard (NPSCY) project at Osborne, South Australia. We will provide program and construction management services of nuclear related civil infrastructure, site-wide nuclear licensee development expertise, and nuclear safety leadership. We are currently seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our AUKUS team.
