NeonNow AI, Sydney-based, is seeking a Senior QA Analyst for a hybrid role (2 days in-office, 3 remote). You will own testing for major features, influence acceptance criteria, and champion quality across the team.

You will lead QA efforts in an agile environment, craft test plans, and coordinate UAT to ensure release readiness. Strong collaboration and documentation skills are essential for success.

We’re looking for a Senior QA Analyst who takes pride in quality, thrives on finding edge cases, and enjoys making sure our contact centre platform works exactly as intended — while helping others understand what’s changing. This is a hands-on role with added leadership: you’ll own testing for major features, influence scope and acceptance criteria, and champion quality across the team.

What you’ll do:

• Lead QA efforts for major features, from planning through to release
• Create and execute clear test cases, test plans, and exploratory testing
• Surface risks early and influence requirements, sequencing, and acceptance criteria
• Log detailed, reproducible bugs and drive them through to resolution
• Coordinate and support UAT, ensuring release readiness is well communicated
• Collaborate with developers, product, and design throughout the lifecycle
• Contribute to both customer-facing and internal documentation
• Champion improvements in QA processes, tooling, and practices across the team

What you’ll bring:

• At least 4 years of QA or software testing experience, ideally in agile teams
• Strong knowledge of manual testing, exploratory testing, and QA best practices
• Experience with issue tracking and documentation tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence)
• Technical understanding of web applications, APIs, HTTP requests/responses, and status codes
• Excellent written communication and attention to detail
• Organised, methodical, and comfortable juggling competing priorities
• Strong collaboration skills — able to influence and work cross-functionally

Nice to have:

• Experience testing complex SaaS/web apps, distributed systems, or cloud platforms
• Familiarity with contact centre tech (Amazon Connect, CX platforms, telcos)
• Hands-on use of tools like Postman, Fiddler, or similar
• Contributions to internal help guides or support content
• Certifications such as ISTQB, CSTE, or AWS
