Quality Engineer (Mobile) — Manual + Automation

Location: Melbourne (Hybrid, 3 days onsite)

About the role

Hands‑on QE covering both manual and automation for native iOS/Android apps. You’ll begin by shoring up manual test coverage, then build/expand Appium automation and integrate it into CI/CD.

What you’ll do

• Plan and execute manual functional, regression and release testing for mobile apps.
• Build and maintain Appium test suites (Java or TypeScript).
• Integrate tests into CI/CD (Azure DevOps/GitLab/Jenkins); own reporting and quality gates.
• API testing (Postman/RestAssured) and basic data validation (SQL).
• Manage defects (Jira), environments, and test data; collaborate across squads.
• Champion quality practices, documentation and readiness for release.

Must‑have

• 4+ years in QA/QE with 2+ years in mobile app testing (iOS/Android).
• Proven experience in both manual and automation testing.
• CI/CD experience; solid Agile delivery and stakeholder communication.

Nice to have

• Salesforce mobile/responsive journeys, performance basics, security hygiene.
