The role requires 5+ years of software testing, experience in a .NET environment, and solid defect-tracking skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software testing experience.

• Creation of dynamic XPath expressions.
• Application of Boundary Value Analysis and Equivalence Partitioning.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the defect lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Plan and design the testing lifecycle from start to finish, including execution, analysis and reporting.
• Develop and evolve the automation strategy while performing high-value manual testing.
• Report to a Senior QA/Team Lead within a flat structure.
• 4 days in office to support face-to-face collaboration.
• Be autonomous with minimal red tape.

About the Role

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for the comprehensive testing lifecycle. From initial planning and design through to execution, analysis, and reporting. While this role is initially weighted toward high-value manual testing, you will be key in developing and evolving the automation strategy as well.

Responsibilities / Skills Include:

• 5+ years of professional software testing experience.
• Experience working in a .NET environment
• Use of assertions for test verification
• Creation of dynamic XPath expressions
• Use of XPath axes (ancestor, following-sibling, parent)
• Application of Boundary Value Analysis
• Application of Equivalence Partitioning
• Demonstrated knowledge of the defect lifecycle
• Defect logging including steps to reproduce, expected results, and actual results
• Performing actions on controls and retrieving values from controls within automated tests
• You will report to a Senior QA/Team Lead within a flat structure, minimising middle management.
• 4 days in office as they value face to face collaboration.
• Strong autonomy and little red tape.
