Job summary

Think Wink is seeking a Quality Engineer to own testing across our platforms and drive AI-assisted automation. You will work with developers, the Engineering Manager and account managers in a remote AU role with a preference for Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane.

Qualifications

• At least three years of QA experience across manual, exploratory and automated testing.
• Ability to scope testing based on risk, independently of how a change is described.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools to write and maintain automated tests.
• Experience with UI test automation (Playwright or similar) and API testing (Postman or code).
• Clear written communication: testable acceptance criteria and bug reports for developers.
• Familiarity with CI pipelines, Jira and SQL.
• Experience with visual regression testing, multi-tenant or loyalty, payments or gift cards is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Test every change before release and set test scope based on risk.
• Contribute acceptance criteria and risk reviews at refinement.
• Triage bugs: reproduce, classify defects, and add regression tests.
• Build automated UI and API regression from one suite across platforms using AI tools.
• Explore edge cases and customer experience; verify builds against designs.
• Collaborate with Engineering Manager on pipelines, test environments and data.
• Keep test documentation and coverage register current.
