Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, is seeking a Data QA Engineer based in Australia. You will ensure data accuracy, completeness, and reliability for web data extraction projects and AI-assisted solutions.

The role emphasizes early defect prevention, exploratory testing, data analysis, and automation, with reports and dashboards to communicate results. You will collaborate with project managers, developers, and clients, using Python, SQL, and modern testing tools to strengthen QA

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in QA engineering or data quality assurance.
• Proficiency in Python for data validation (Pandas, Jupyter).
• Strong SQL skills and ability to validate data in relational databases.
• Experience testing HTTP/REST APIs and validating responses against requirements.
• Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, XPath, JSON, HTTP, CSS).
• Experience with Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban) and collaborating with developers.

Responsabilidades

• Translate customer data extraction and web scraping requirements into clear, testable criteria and QA strategies.
• Perform exploratory, manual, and automated testing to validate data quality.
• Execute test cycles on extracted data to verify compliance with specifications and identify defects.
• Document defects with reproducible steps and evidence for fast resolution.
• Apply statistics, data summaries, and visuals to assess completeness and data drift.
• Prepare quality reports and metrics for internal teams and customers.
• Identify testing scope, untested areas, and associated risks for informed decisions.
• Collaborate with managers and customers to clarify requirements and ensure measurable QA processes.
• Contribute to test automation frameworks and improve coverage, reliability, and performance.
• Suggest QA tooling improvements, including browser extensions and UI testing aids.
• Work independently while aligning with QA leadership and project teams.
